What's up with logging in and out
You DO NOT have to login each time you visit the web site.In fact, we recommend you only login when asked by the system. Our membership system tracks your login status by placing a non-tracking browser cookie on your computer. In most cases, simply choose where you want to go from the menu buttons just under the village houses at the top of each page. If you try to visit an area you do not have authorization for, your cookie has been deleted, or you logged out, the system will forward you to an appropriate login page. Once you login through the membership page, the cookie tells the site to grant you access to areas you have registered or paid for.
NOTE: if you see the phrase 'Access is not allowed. Please go to "Membership information page"' on the membership page after login, simply click "Membership information page" to see live link(s) on the left for your authorized subscription areas.
NOTE: On the membership page, there is a Logout link. We suggest you NOT use that link unless you are on a public computer (e.g. library) where you would not want others to access your account. Once your login cookie is set correctly, your browser maintains your login status for 60 days. You should not have to log in again unless you delete the cookie or go more than 60 days without logging in.
If you want to reach the membership page, there are two methods in the new interface.
To access your member's page directly, the URL is:
http://latter-dayvillage.com/amember/member.php
On the membership page, you will find the following:
| Left Side | Right Side |
|---|---|
Your Subscriptions Links to your paid or registered areas. Not all common areas have links here, like forums. Use the menus. Free membership links to the sampler knowledgebase. |
Add/New Subscriptions Additional Memberships or Products you can purchase. |
Payment History shows your current and past subscriptions. A cancel link here means you have a recurring subscription that automatically renews on the anniversary date. |

Q: I visited the site, but all I got was an error page stating there was some kind of license error. What's up with that?
A: Both of our previous individual sites, LDSSeminaryFiles.com and PrimaryETC.com used the same membership management system, which is controlled by a site specific license. Both of those domains now point to Latter-dayVillage.com, but if you use an old URL, shortcut, or link, the old URL still appears in your browser and our new license thinks you are attempting to fraudulently use our membership system; hence the error.
Please update your links, shortcuts, and favorites, with the new location, replacing ldsseminaryfiles.com or primaryetc.com for latter-dayvillage.com.

Submitting Ideas to Latter-dayVillage
The resources we provide to LDV members come from: LDV members! If you are a free member, we ask that you dig into your electronic bag of lesson goodies (e.g. object lessons, stories, glue quotes, images, presentations) and send them to us. It's easy. Just click here to visit our submit page, or send your items and attachments directly to webmaster@latter-dayvillage.com. All 5000 other members thank you in advance! PS: you can reach the submit page by clicking Submit Ideas from the Fellowship menu.
